Testimonials

We may receive your email address and name from someone who is gifting you a subscription.

If you subscribe to Our service, you normally will be required to provide your payment details (except where you are a sponsee or have been gifted an annual subscription). These details will be made available in part to both the payment gateway and merchant bank involved. We ourselves will not receive and/or store your credit card details. We use Stripe (www.stripe.com) as Our payment provider. Stripe will process the payment data as an independent controller and in accordance with its own privacy policy, which can be found here: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy. Your personal data will only be used by Stripe for the purposes of processing your payment, and will be securely encrypted. Stripe is based in Dublin and the United States, so your transaction may involve your personal data being transferred outside of the EEA directly to them, if you are based in Europe.

Where Do We Store Your Personal Data
We will keep your personal data secure by taking appropriate technical and organisational measures against its unauthorised or unlawful processing and against its accidental loss, destruction or damage.
Our website is hosted by Unscreen.tv on secure servers located in the USA. The data that we collect from you will therefore be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who process account details and who provide support services. Transfers will only be made to countries which are the subject of an adequacy decision of the EU Commission or recipients who have entered into binding contracts with us to comply with the terms of this Notice and Data Protection Law. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. For the purposes of this Notice, Data Protection Law means (i) the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, (ii), for customers in the EEA, the General Data Protection Act, and (iii) and any national implementing laws of the GDPR, as amended from time to time and any successor legislation to the UK GDPR, the GDPR or the Data Protection Act 2018.
Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed, including the running of an active firewall, two-factor authentication and malware scanning. In addition, We limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on Our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable supervisory authority of a breach where We are legally required to do so.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although We will do Our best to protect your personal data, We cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once We have received your

How Long Do We Store Your Data For
We may keep records of any personal information obtained from you on or through Our Website, or otherwise, for as long as We believe is reasonably required for our ongoing legitimate business needs, or such longer period as may be required for legal, audit and compliance purposes. 1. Account registration and maintenance, managing our relationship with you such as request feedback, review or survey and review responses – Once you have registered an account with the Website, your account details will be kept in our database, unless deleted by you or if you ask us to delete the details. We will also delete your account, approximately two years after the account was last active.
2. Marketing – We will retain your personal data that we process with your consent for marketing purposes until such time as your consent is withdrawn. For the avoidance of doubt, if you withdraw your consent, we will not conduct any marketing that is necessary for our legitimate interests, although may still contact you for other purposes relating to the services or your account. We may from time to time deactivate and/or delete an account that is inactive for a period of 12 (twelve) months by providing notification of inactivity by email.
3. Handling queries/complaints relating to your account – we will retain all data relating to your account, and associated queries for the applicable limitation period under applicable national laws relevant for claims for breach by us of any contract between you and us. 4. To keep records of transactions and processing activities – we will retain all financial data provided or generated in connection with your subscriptions for the legal retention period for tax, audit and associated reports/accounting.
5. To operate the Website, provide support, deliver web content to subscribers etc – we will maintain this data, including logs and web server records, for the duration of the Website and the applicable limitation period relevant for claims for breach of contract.
6. To use data analytics and map data flows to improve the Website, products/services, marketing, customer relationships and experiences –this data will be retained in accordance with our cookie policy (see above for more information).
At the end of each retention period we will delete your personal data (for example deleting your account or the data held in the applicable database). However, if such data is necessary to fulfil other purposes, we will keep your personal data but only to process it for such other purposes. Where we rely on the legal retention period, at the end of the legal retention period personal data stored in the databases and other electronic documents will be deleted.
